My Situations project is a sculptural investigation into space, site, objects and materials. Characterised by improvised means, and the repetition of objects from one installation to the next, the project points up a relationship with the everyday world but attempts a disruption of ordinary space. None of the objects I use are particularly remarkable, I've used pencils and rulers repeatedly and more recently partially dismantled furniture and sections of coloured hose.
