EXHIBITIONS / PHANTASMA
26.03.2009 to 18.04.2009
The installation Phantasma, revolves around Jasmin's childhood hallucinations of a clown and revisiting these memories in an attempt to explore the psychological origins of this 'phantasm'. Within this uncanny realm, the clown becomes the subject where early traumatic experiences are evoked and reconfigured in an attempt to distinguish between the imaginary and the real.
Phantasma ventures into the mystery of the clown 'ghost' by presenting fragmented parts of the memory, where the viewer may look for clues and add possible interpretations of their own.
