The visual arts practice of Meredith Frances Lynch fuses the painterly with a wider multi-disciplinary art practice. The studio work explores the contemporary expanded field of painting and uses repetitive actions to investigate the shared territory between painting and other art forms. These paintings trace the time and act of creating the artworks and, consequentially, the artwork becomes an abstract form of visual diary and contains the creative experience completed by artist for the viewer to further contemplate.
