Profile
During the past ten years, Julia Davis’ work has been installed in salt lakes, deserts, coastal precincts and parklands as well as within galleries and the built environment. In 2002 she was awarded the AGNSW Director’s Prize at Sculpture by the Sea and in 2007 was the winner of the Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award. She has undertaken commissions for Marrickville Council, Sydney Water, and the University of NSW. Recent residencies include Fraser Studios in Sydney and IASKA in WA.
