Derek Allan is a sound designer with over 20 years experience in the audio production industry. He is the Managing and Creative Director of audio production house ZigZag Lane, whose clients include Andrew Denton's Zapruder's Other Films, ABC TV, Foxtel, Fairfax Digital, Channels Seven, Nine and Ten and SBS. Derek has recorded and mixed hundreds of projects for TV, radio, cinema, online and the public space. He is also the producer/sound designer for SonicGuides.com, creating cinematic walking tours employing a mix of music, sound effects and voice to bring social history to life.
