Albert is currently based in Melbourne, Australia. He completed a BFA in Painting from the University of Canterbury School of Fine Art (Christchurch, New Zealand) in 2007. Recently he's been exhibiting in New Zealand and Australia and was awarded the Press Peoples Choice award 2009 (COCA Anthony Harper Contemporary Art Award 2009).
